You may be interested to know this form also showcases one of our open source projects called HackerFighter. An overview of the contact forms capabilities are listed below:

  1. Filters and rejects characters that contact form hackers enter, with intent to take over a websites contact form and use it as a spam relay.
  2. Our forms most deliberately do not use any captcha (that annoying special code you need to enter before you can send a contact form). Instead this form uses what some people call a honey pot. What this means is, if a spambot tries to auto fill out the form, the robot will very likely trigger a hidden field, causing the script to stop. Foiling the robots attempt to send you spam without the need for annoying captcha.
  3. Our PHP forms also come in a combination of multiple checkboxes, radio buttons, drop down select boxes or you can choose a form that can have multiple recieving departments (emails) for a sender to choose from via select box.
  4. If you enter an invalid email address, name or if 'hack' characters (PHP Newlines, carriage returns etc) or on the other hand 'honest' invalid characters are entered into one of the forms inputs, a validation message is shown to the user telling them what they need to correct (via user friendly input validation messages) or advising them of an issue.
