The above image shows the mivardia theme squeezed down to its minimum width of 530px for user-friendly browsing on smart phones.
The theme is compatible with all modern web browsers, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer etc, the theme is also compatible with the superseded Internet Explorer 7. The Mivardia theme will also work in the very old Internet Explorer version 6, but you will need Javascript to make the drop down menu work in the ancient Internet Explorer 6. In Internet Explorer version 6 the shadow bar I have made under the menu and above the footer of the theme will not show as a shadow in Internet Explorer 6, but it will show as an expansion of around 50 pixels on estimate. That said the theme will still look fine in the ancient internet explorer version 6 for any people still using that old web browser.

In the image above you can see references and tips to some of the settings in the Mivardia style.css file relating to website width, header background color, the header logo image and header height all if you can change at will if you know what you are doing. You will also notice I have put a lot more comments in the style.css file between /* forward slashes back slashes and stars */. These tell you what important parts of the Mivardia style.css file deal with and are used for. I hope you find the comments throughout the Mivardia style.css file a useful guide in your Mivardia CSS adventure. You can remove the guiding instructional CSS reference comments to lighten the CSS file, but please leave my credits in the very top of the Mivardia style.css file.
Before you start making any changes I would recommend making one or more back up copies of the style.css style sheet at all times and when you make progression you are happy with, save another copy of the style.css stylesheet, so if you mess something thing up from there, you can always go to the back up copy of that style sheet and go from that reference point. When you are doing web development think Back Up's and think security, although the only security thing you will need to worry about when it comes to stylesheets is making sure that file permissions are set to 644 for the style sheets on your live web space, oh did I say just the CSS files set with file permissions of 644, it is most likely that you will need to set every single file that you ever have in your web space to file permissions of 644 (644 also looks like -rw-r--r--, so if there are any extra w's or r's, the file permissions are no longer set at 644 which can in a hacker attack if you leave your pages with other file permission settings that are not permissions of 644). Please take note of this even if a file is a zip file or pdf file, it is still a file and security is still security.
