What is this Software Used For?

Hacker Fighter is software that is comprised of PHP email contact form scripts in a choice of variations... To be used on websites (Even pure HTML websites, so long as the web host supports PHP), so visitors can contact you via a form on say a contact us page or on a product inquiry page. We have contact form scripts with basic name, email and message options to contact form scripts set up for a form page interface with various bells and whistles, like radio buttons, check boxes, drop down lists and more.

The License Details of This Software

You can download one or more Hacker Fighter PHP contact forms from this page, all our Hacker Fighter form scripts are free and released under the Open Source BSD License. What this means is you can use our forms in any manner you want, but you must leave our credits in the top of the PHP code. Hacker Resistant Features of all Our Hacker Fighter Contact Forms

We have a few different variations and set ups of the Hacker Fighter contact form available, but they all have the following functionality as listed below in common:

  1. Regular expressions are used to keep out hack characters such as PHP new lines and other characters that a normal person is unlikely to enter into your contact form. This is to prevent your form being taken over by spammers with intent to hack and use your form as a spam relay (This would leave a trail of spam leading back to you) Our form is designed to spoil and foil a spammers nasty plans. Leaving you with peace of mind.
  2. Regular expressions are also used to validate email addresses entered in the email address input, will allow through email address with double dot domains like .co.uk as well as the usual single dot domain extension like .com or .us with an extension length of up to 10 characters
  3. Regular expressions are also used to validate all the inputs to check for user error.
  4. All our forms are set up 'not' to use annoying captcha (That annoying scramble of letters and or numbers you see on some websites that they require you to fill out to send a form). No instead we use what some people call a Honey Pot. This is an input made invisible via CSS and is there to trap spambots when they try to fill out your form by denying the form being sent for the spambot.
  5. Each form script comes in a zip file available on this website for you to download and use.

The things our forms do not have in common are some differ in set up and even in PHP code in some parts of the code within our forms. Some of the forms are set up with drop down boxes, radio buttons and check boxes and even multiple choice of email delivery for businesses with multiple departments. While others are set up with minimal choice for the visitor to enter, like just their name, their email and a message.

Quick tip: Each form script package you download contains a PHP script named ec.php that processes what a user enters into a form, please open it and put in your receiving email address where it says to do so in the ec.php file, in the script code as mentioned by the comments I put there. Do it  in a php editor like Notepad++, save it and then it is then ready to go (Form variation number 'four' will require one to fill out multiple receiving emails, but it is explained in the script source code).
